|For the second day running we struggled to find a suitable place to camp. Once again, a friendly Uzbek took pity on us and put us up in their "onion room" for the night.
It's hard to describe the kindness shown by these people. Twice we were taken in, fed and offered space to sleep.
Could you imagine being so kind to strangers that could turn up at your door, unable to explain anything due to a language barrier?
